Do you want to learn more about Chefchaouen? There are a thousand and one ways to enjoy a wonderful time there. Chefchaouen, a lovely city in the Rif Mountains, is one of Morocco's most attractive towns and an artistic city.
with all blue that feels like its a unic world. While tourism has definitely taken hold. Chefchaouen is a small mountain town in north-eastern Morocco with a great location between Ranger(north) and Marrakech (south), with a population of 40,000, 600 m at the foot of the Kelaa and Meggou mountains, which form the Jebel Chaouen, on the chain of the Rif.
Chefchaouen, on the other hand, is much more than ornamentation. There are several attractions in the city. It has a long and illustrious history. There's the Medina, which is modest but real, where borrowing its alleyways entails mixing with the locals and smelling their everyday fragrances, such as freshly baked bread and perfectly made tagines. The Kasbah, located in the midst of the historic neighborhood, is a refuge of freshness in the heart of the city, with its verdant gardens. Its museum is also worth a look: it houses a collection of antique weaponry, as well as photographs of the city and textiles.
Taking advantage of its location, Chefchaouen is also a paradise for walkers. The surrounding mountains are crisscrossed with paths which offer very pleasant hiking perspectives. To explore them is to discover another, more remote Morocco, that of the Rif chain.
